Jimmy Batilo Songa - Service Manager
MY L.I.F.E Programme is a very interesting care model that has helped improve the lives of service users in our care. It has enhanced the social and financial skills of most service users I manage at Approach Lodge. For example, A male learner came to me and said, “I have built confidence to go in the community all by myself”. This learner attributed the gains he has made to the Confidence Building module of MY L.I.F.E Programme that he completed. Another service user mentions that “I can now manage my own money”. He further said “thanks to the Finance Management module of MY L.I.F.E Programme”. Above all, I believe that MY L.I.F.E Programme helps service users with mental health problems to gain Independent Living skills.
